Portland Institute for Loss and Transition
Looking for serious professional training in
grief counseling and bereavement support?
Mix Onsite and Online Training to
Make Rapid Progress to Certification!
Loss and grief are a part of life, but ironically they are not a part of postgraduate training for most students and practitioners in the mental health professions.
Now the Portland Institute for Loss and Transition is offering not only onsite, but also Live Online Training and convenient Recorded Training in grief counseling and therapy leading toward Certification in any of five tracks: Grief Therapy as Meaning Reconstruction (GTMR), Art-Assisted Grief Therapy (AAGT), Grief Therapy for Non-Death Losses (NDL), Family-Focused Grief Therapy (FFGT), and Grief Therapy for Suicide Bereavement (GTSB).
You can mix onsite events and online training in any combination, supplementing your past and future onsite credits with a growing list of Core Courses, Techniques Modules, Practicum Modules, and Case Studies currently or soon to be available in either format.
Note, however, that you need not pursue certification to register for any Live Online or Recorded module of your choice, in any order, without prerequisites. Simply peruse our extensive and growing curriculum under either of these headings in our Main Menu, or enroll in the Certification Program of your choice and become a full-fledged member of the PI learning community. Welcome on board!
